Technical data

  • Farming:
It is used the dilution of this salt in water as a source of potassium and phosphorus highly efficient for plants also has fungicidal function, its mixture with urea minimizes the loss of the ammonium ion keeping the pH relatively low.
  • Feeding:
It is used as a food additive, mainly as a stabilizer. One of its applications as an additive is in meat products; Interacting with proteins minimizes water loss and maintains the juiciness and texture of the product. It is sometimes used as a regulator of acidity and as a chelating agent for some minerals.
